My prayer

When I can’ keep up with the younger set, I like to remember this verse, Lord.  I may not have all the physical stamina and endurance I once had, but spiritually you have taught me what it means to tap into a strength far beyond my own—yours.  I see it in the way you carry me through hardships and trials that at first seemed unbearable.  I see it in the day to day “small things,” such as prayer, that you’ve helped me to etablish in my life.  Wings of eagles, indeed!  I’m soaring on your strength at this very moment.

This was taken from a Woman’s Daily Prayer Book; and it fits me perfectly today.

Exposure of Evil Doers

This Memoir will in time be in print, as I trust in the Lord; there will be many that will not like me coming out with “the dirty laundry.” But, I am taking care of myself, why should I live in shame, for their behaviors? The Lord says; “Fear not.” Thank you Jesus! “God, in his power, drags away the rich. They may rise high, but they have no assurance in life. They may be allowed to live in security, but God is always watching them. And though they are great now, in a moment they will be gone like all others, withered like heads of grain. “Can anyone claim otherwise? Who can prove me wrong?” Job 24:22-25
